- Meet Eco. The picture above is of Eco, one of 2 bald eagles that have taken up residence near the Greenfeet.com warehouse. The name "Eco" came about from where we first saw him, on the corner of Eaton Road and Cohasset Road.
- Hybrid car sharing comes to St. Louis. Jillicious sent along an article about WeCar, a hybrid car sharing program now available in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The program was started by Enterprise Rent-A-Car and provides members with a hybrid rental car for a low hourly rate.
- Cross off your list. List Universe has compiled a list of the top 20 beers that should be tried at least once.

- Lutz the Putz.**Warning: PG13 content.** D Magazine recently quoted General Motors CEO Bob Lutz saying, "Global warming is a total crock of sh*t". Don't hold back, Bob.
- Where's the beef? Recalled. The USDA has recalled 143 million pounds of frozen beef from a slaughterhouse that is being investigated for mistreating the cattle.
- Buzz kill. Haagen-Dazs is warning consumers that disappearing bee colonies in the U.S. could result in fewer flavors of ice cream and higher prices.
Teenie Weenie Greenie⢠Sew easy! This week's Teenie Weenie Greenie⢠was sent in by Brianna. Make your own reusable bag by recycling your old t-shirts. Grab an old t-shirt, cut out the neck, cut off the sleeves, and use a sewing machine to sew a straight seam across the bottom. Now you have a reusable bag shaped like traditional bags but is much sturdier.

- Food-safety fight. Charlie sent along an article about Ben & Jerry's fight to make it known that their ice creams are free of bovine growth hormones. A group of farmer's backed by Monsanto are pushing for labeling changes saying that hormone-free labels imply that the milk is safer than others, when they say its not.
